Several Upcoming Thomistic Events

Three announcements for upcoming events centering on the thoughts of Thomas Aquinas (thanks to Edward Feser for making me aware of these).

First, the Albertus Magnus Center for Scholastic Studies is hosting a non-accredited summer seminar on “The Transcendent Christ: St. Paul’s Letter to the Hebrews” in Norcia, Italy, focusing on Thomas’ commentary on the work. The seminar takes place July 10th – July 24th, with the application deadline on May 16th. Details can be found here.

Second, the Witherspoon Institute is hosting their 11th annual Thomistic seminar in Princeton, NJ, focusing this year on Thomas’ political thoughts. The seminar takes place August 7–13, 2016, with the application deadline March 31. Details can be found here.

Finally, the Catholic and Dominican Institute of the Mount St. Mary College is hosting its sixth annual philosophy workshop with this year’s focus also on Thomas’ political thoughts. The workshop runs June 2-5, 2016. There does not appear to be a deadline for the application, but space is very limited. Click here for further details.
